Now available to all Orion Studio owners at no charge is new OSX and Windows compatible control panel software with FPGA-based, no latency amp and mic modeling plug-ins.

Included are the AuraVerb, three interchangeable guitar amps and guitar cabinets, four microphones, and two vintage equalizer emulations.

These amp/cabinet/microphone models developed in conjunction with Overloud Audio Tools, are amazingly real emulations that respond to a guitar players touch - just like a real amp and not like a plug-in! Amps such as “Darkface 65”, “Top 30” and “Modern” (with three voicings) can be combined with cabinet options such as 2x12" or 4x12".

In addition, a pair of dynamic, ribbon, or condenser mics can be combined with any of the amp cabinets. The result is phenomenally responsive, rich, full and authentic amp tones that have to be heard to be believed. Built-in re-amp inputs on the Orion Studio make it a breeze to apply processing to existing guitar tracks.

Also included are a pair of EQ's modeled after the BAE 1073 and vintage Pultec style EQs. The "EQP-1A" features simultaneous band boost and cut. The MEQ5 offers dual peaks and a dip filtering for mid-range shaping.

New Vintage Guitar FX:

The hardware-based effects bring precision and audio realism to a completely new level enabling artists to experiment with multiple cabinet and amp configurations, mic placement and EQ settings. The extremely low-latency of Antelope's guitar amp simulations produces the feel of a real hardware amp. Thanks to new a new unique sampling technique for vintage gear modeling, guitarists can capture the true sound of legendary amplifiers.

In addition, Orion Studio features an array of hardware-quality audio effects, including a faithful emulation of a legendary equalizer and the extremely versatile AuraVerb reverb. Antelope will be adding more Vintage FX and even more guitar FX soon, using the same realistic modeling architecture.
