The Soundworks Maple 6.5” x 14” model features a 6-ply, 5mm Maple shell. The market standard hardwood shell offers a classicwarm andopen tone with balanced highs/mids and full-bodied resonance.  Dynamic and sensitive, this snare responds to the drummer's subtle articulations for optimum musical expression.  But it can also be laid into with authority to produce cracking rimshots with extended volume headroom.

The Sound Arc Hoop features an inward-curved, 2.3mm steel hoop that enhances the natural tone of the snare drum and offers increased sensitivity, precise tuning, while controlling excessive overtones.

The Soundworks snare is rounded out with a Matte Vintage Maple finish, durable carbon steel Snappy snare wire, and tenMSL60s lugs. Tension rods are noticeably smooth and silky, making this drum a dream to tune.
