The reissue of the classic SEM monophonic analog synthesizer expander module.
Originally released in 1974, the SEM is one of the classic discrete analog synths, with a huge, three-dimensional "fat" tone that must be heard to be believed. Tom's reissue cuts no corners- the circuitry is almost identical to original units. The only component changes were made due to unavailable parts, but the great tone has not been affected. No digital voice circuits, or thin-sounding analog "voice chips" here- only genuine hi-fi fat analog goodness.

2 oscillators with beautiful sync sound, Oberheims well-known sweet multi mode filter, two envelopes and a LFO. This is not much ut it is still very impressive what kind of sounds you can create with this rather simple setup! Truly fat sounds, since the mid-1970ies!
The SEM patchpanel has plenty of 3.5mm sockets for controlling many parameters via voltages. no MIDI here, only analog voltages. MIDI users should have a peek at the SEM MIDI or the SEM Pro.
