Loved for its simple construction and outrageous versatility, most players agree that the Fender Telecaster is as close to electric guitar design perfection as it gets. The only debate left to settle is “which era Tele is the best?” Built to unique specifications, Alto Music is pleased to present a Telecaster with the most popular elements of the 50s and 60s era.

Featuring “Tele Custom” tortoise body binding and guard with a Pearl White lacquer finish, that’s relic’d just right for a convincing “Yardbirds” era vibe. The extra dark hand-sorted rosewood slab ‘board, adorned with clay dot markers, adds to the well-loved early 60s Tele Custom style. Features from the 50s era include the deep U-shaped 1954 neck profile, with a heavy relic “dirty neck” finish, for the smooth feel of a guitar that’s been broken in with perfection. Under the Pearl White finish lies more surprises-A 50’s era hand selected Ash body provides the snap and responsive tone that helped make the Tele so popular. Great tone also comes from a pair of ’51no-caster “flathead” bridge pickups and a matching/balanced ‘51 no-caster neck pickup.

The Fender Custom Shop 60’s Pearl White Telecaster also features upgraded Jescar 45085 frets, on a modern, 9.5” fretboard radius, and weighs only 7.7lbs--Complete with Brown Tolex Fender Custom Shop Case, and accessories.
