The Sonor Vintage Series gives drummers the look and feel of a vintage style kit with modern advancements. This drum kit is made of 9-ply, hand-selected premium German Beech wood drum shells giving these drums the warm, fat tone of Maple with the attack of Birch. Like the original Teardrop series Sonor drums of the 50’s these drums have a rounded bearing edge to increase the low end of this drum kit. A nice omage to the original kit is the teardrop lug style. This lug perfectly fits the motif of the Vintage Pearl wrap. This drum kit feels just as good to play as it looks!
