ATC P2 Pro Dual-Mono Power Amplifier
The P2 Pro is a dual-mono power amplifier in Class A/B construction with a completely discrete circuit: the power supply, the signal processing and the returns both channels are completely separate and independent of each other. Each channel independently delivers 300 watts of continuous power, ensuring signal transmission with maximum bandwidth and minimal distortion even under the most demanding loudspeaker loads.
Dual mono construction guarantees maximum signal separation with minimum crosstalk and ensures that channel intermodulation across the power supplies is kept to an absolute minimum at all frequencies in the range up to 400 kHz. In addition, this ensures that the power consumption of one channel cannot affect the available power of the other channel.
The electronic components of the P2 Pro are housed in a new, low-vibration and rackable 19-inch chassis, which is closed off by a 12.7 mm thick, precision-machined brushed aluminum front panel. The circuit design is based on a massive and low-noise 400 VA transformer per channel specially developed for the P2 Pro and on an output stage with three MOSFET transistor pairs per channel to ensure peak currents of more than 15 amperes.
The P2 Pro dual-mono power amplifier also has the unique "grounded source" output stage known from ATC, absolutely even power distribution and extremely low harmonic distortion values. Thanks to identical amplification values, the P2 Pro can be conveniently operated as a passive bi-amp or tri-amp system with the well-known P1 Pro dual-mono power amplifier via the "Link" phono inputs and outputs.
On the connection side, the P2 Pro dual mono power amplifier offers users the choice between balanced XLR and unbalanced phono inputs, the "Link" phono inputs and outputs as well as proprietary speaker connections. The power switch is conveniently located on the front panel.
