Classic 2-Channel Compressor with Auto Fade and Remote Connector

76 — LEGENDARY FET COMPRESSION, REBORN
Ask any mixing engineer to name the most important compressor ever built, and the answer is the same: the 1176. The 76 is Behringer's 2-channel reissue of that legend, the FET compressor that has shaped vocals, drums and bass on more hit records than anyone can count.

The 76 delivers that unmistakable FET attack — fast, aggressive, alive — with the same musical character that engineers chase across every session. Two channels let you compress stereo sources or run two mono signals through one box, and the auto-fade feature gives you smooth automated level rides without touching the desk. The remote connector adds the kind of integration pro studios demand.

For vocals, the 76 adds the upfront presence and intelligibility that defines pro records. For drums, it slams the transients into perfect shape. For bass, it locks the bottom end in place. This isn't a clone — it's the sound, at a price that lets every studio own one.
