The GSi 5x5 is a Professional Rackmount 5-input / 5-output USB-Midi interface, ideal for the studio but great for complex live setups as well. It's built into a sturdy metal case with included rack ears that can be mounted in two ways. In front mode, all connections are on the front. The large eyelets in the rack ears allow the cables coming from the back of the rack cabinet to reach the front of the device in an ordered fashion. In rear mode, all connections stay on the rear.
Rack ears can be unmounted for desktop use, by attaching adhesive rubber feet on the bottom. Its metal 5mm panels make it heavy enough to sit firmly on a table without the cables pulling it down.

With its full speed USB 2.0 link to the Computer, it's compatible with every modern Operating System (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Linux) right out of the box without requiring the installation of a driver. A device driver is supplied for Windows in order to enable the multi-client mode (i.e. the same in/out ports being opened by several applications at the same time).
