A really nice hi-hat stand. I'm no expert but its really stable, quick and handles e-drum cymbals well in terms of their weight. A few minor gripes, the stand doesn't go quite low enough for me (I play open handed and like to set my cymbals only slightly above the snare). I looked into cutting it but you have to cut the lower part of the pin system to shorten it which I didn't end up doing yet. Getting used to the higher hat (note that part of the height is due to the alignment bracket on the digital hi hat but its still too high for my preferences. Also for e-drums, the upper pin slides in and is able to rotate freely which doesn't work for e-drums (and people who don't like to hit the logos on their cymbals). They should make a lockout to prevent this rotation if you wanted to understanding this would reduce portability. I was able to tape it to stop the spinning which has been effective so far. Generally, a high quality stand with a few me specific issues.
