The Hummingbird Dark captures his sonic and visual identity in guitar form. Finished in a brooding Cobra Burst gloss, accented by black binding and a custom Hummingbird Dark pickguard, this acoustic-electric is designed to command attention on stage and deliver depth in the studio. It’s full-bodied, expressive, and built to travel—mirroring the stories Eric conveys in every chord.

The Eric Church Hummingbird Dark features a square-shouldered dreadnought body constructed with layered mahogany back and sides, paired with a solid European spruce top that will continue to open up tonally over time. Its 4” Performer body depth is slightly reduced front to back, enhancing playing comfort while maintaining excellent tonal balance. Black single-ply binding frames the top, back, and fretboard, reinforcing the instrument’s darker, more assertive visual character.

The set mahogany neck carries a Rounded C profile and is topped with a rosewood fretboard. Grey pearloid split parallelogram inlays extend the theme, while a 12” radius and 20 standard frets provide smooth, effortless playability. The Kalamazoo-style headstock is equipped with Grover® Rotomatic® tuners for dependable tuning performance. A grey and black mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Gibson Crown inlay appear on the front, while the back displays a gold reproduction of Eric’s signature.

A guitar bearing Eric Church’s name is built to perform, and the Eric Church Hummingbird Dark arrives ready for both stage and studio. It comes fitted with a Fishman® Presys™ VT preamp and Sonicore™ under-saddle pickup, ensuring reliable amplified tone wherever it’s played. For protection in transit, it is housed in a black hardshell case featuring a reproduction of Eric’s signature on the exterior.
