The only “heavy relic” feature on this unique ’62 Custom Shop Jazzmaster is the key to its time-worn feel—and outstanding playability: The plain-grain un-finished “dirty neck” has the feel of a vintage neck that’s been worn smooth by 60 years’ worth of gigs. The AAA dark rosewood board sports a 9.50” radius and medium-tall fret wire, giving the feel of a vintage neck modernized by a fret job (or two).
