With classic three-color sunburst, Fender’s Journeyman-level-relic lacquer finish, and late 60s features, this Custom Shop creation looks as if it just arrived from the set of “Get Back.” Famous for pushing the boundaries of what Rock music can be, the Beatles relied on anything new and different—That’s why the Fender Bass VI became such an essential part of the band’s “studio-era” sound.

A quartersawn roasted maple neck feels smooth, looks authentically aged, and easily supports six strings worth of tension. A full range of unique Guitar and Bass tones comes from a Trio of 62 Jaguar Flat magnet pickups, controlled by a master volume and tone control plus 4 2way switches. The Bass VII features a 1.55” inch nut (like a Jazz bass) and 30” scale length (just about the middle ground between a 24” Jaguar guitar and 34” standard bass neck)-- making a comfortable transition for the guitarist or bassist.
