Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and flame maple back and sides, the SJ-200 Original produces a bold, projecting voice with exceptional clarity. Appointments inspired by Gibson’s Golden Era reflect its historic roots, while a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish, gold hardware, and refined decorative elements underscore the model’s renowned sophistication. The two-piece maple neck features a comfortable Rounded profile and is topped with a rosewood fretboard carrying 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl graduated crown inlays, one of the instrument’s most recognizable visual signatures.
