Acrolite Classic Aluminum Snare Drum Matte Finish 6.5x14 Originally intended as an inexpensive drum for educational purposes in the golden era of the '60s, the Ludwig Acrolite snare drum is a classic piece of the Ludwig product lineup. This new age version of the drum features a matte-finished Aluminum shell with chrome 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, classic bowtie lugs, P-85 strainer, milled center bead and Black/White badge. The drum offers a warm and dry tone, but provides a generous cut for variation with tuning and heads.
