The Dunlop EP101 Echoplex pedal recreates the unique, sweet sound of the Echoplex EP3 which was used by famous guitarists Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen and Eric Johnson. The EP101 recreates the EP3's tape echo effect and the gain control allows you to boost your signal by up to +11db with a light asymmetrical clipping at higher settings for a nice organic grit. The Echoplex Preamp runs on standard 9-volt power and contains power management circuitry to guarantee constant headroom performance throughout the normal life of a 9-volt battery.
