The Sandberg Classic Special Left-Handed 4-String Bass in Rarewood Bubinga has a 6-bolt Canadian hardrock maple neck with a C-shape profile and standard roasted construction. The fingerboard is maple with a 14" (355.6 mm) radius, 24 frets (2.5 mm), and black front face dot inlays.

Neck measurements include a 39.5 mm width at the zero fret, 61 mm at the 24th fret, and 20 mm thickness at the 1st fret. The bass features black Sandberg hardware. Bridge string spacing is 18.5–20 mm.

Electronics consist of two Delano soapbar pickups and a Sandberg 3-band active/passive preamp with passive tone control. Scale length is 34" (863.6 mm).

A Sandberg gig bag is included.
