The Schecter Reaper-6 FR S Electric Guitar in Satin Charcoal Burst (SCB) features a set-neck construction with ultra access, a swamp ash body, a burl top, a flat top contour, and black and chrome hardware. The bridge is a Floyd Rose 1500 Series tremolo. This is a right-handed instrument.

The maple/walnut multi-ply neck includes carbon fiber reinforcement rods and has an Ultra Thin “C” profile. The fingerboard is ebony with pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays, a 14" (355 mm) radius, and 24 X-jumbo frets. Scale length is 25.5" (648 mm). Neck thickness measures .748" (19 mm) at the 1st fret and .787" (20 mm) at the 12th fret. The nut is a Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut with a width of 1.625" (41.3 mm), and the truss rod is a 2-way adjustable rod with a 5/32" (4 mm) Allen nut.

Electronics include a Schecter Diamond Decimator bridge pickup and a Sustainiac neck pickup. Controls consist of volume, tone, a 3-way pickup selector, a 2-way Sustainiac on/off switch, and a 3-way Sustainiac mode switch (fundamental, mix, harmonic). Power is supplied by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment.

Additional features include metal knurled knobs with set screws and Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046).
