Introducing Horizon One, the next evolution of closed-back monitoring from Steven Slate Audio, paired with the complete VSX Platinum Edition modeling software for recording studios and speakers.

Combining extraordinary sound quality with premium craftsmanship, Horizon One features a high-grade aluminum chassis, beautiful figured maple wood earcups, and a state-of-the-art 50mm dynamic driver engineered for exceptionally low distortion.

The result is a remarkably clean, detailed, and revealing listening experience, delivering a significant leap forward in sonic performance from the original VSX closed-back headphones.

The Platinum Edition gives you all that VSX has to offer – and we mean all of it. Every authentic recreation of world-class mixing studios, every mastering room, every car stereo, every nightclub sound system, every modeled headphone, and more. Not to mention, you’ll also get every future modeled space for free. Can it get any better?

Pro Mix Environments Wherever You Are

One of the biggest challenges in the modern home studio is accurate monitoring, which is why so many music makers check their mixes in the car, only to hear lots of mistakes. This comes from unknowingly overcompensating for the dips and peaks that room acoustics create in their speakers’ frequency response. Even pro studios face these same challenges. VSX gives producers and mixers the ability to hear their music in precisely tuned listening environments, making great, translatable mixes almost effortless.

Premium Closed-Back Precision

Horizon One’s 50mm dynamic drivers are engineered for ultra-low distortion, delivering an exceptionally clean, detailed, and revealing sound. Its closed-back design provides isolated listening for tracking, late-night sessions, and critical mixing, while premium leather earpads and a comfortable over-ear fit keep you focused through long sessions. Whether you’re producing, mixing, or mastering, Horizon One delivers the precision and detail you need to work with confidence.

And as the ideal closed-back companion to the award-winning open-back Immersion One, the Horizon One completes a premium headphone lineup designed for the most discerning music creators.
