Players seeking an all-purpose acoustic guitar with striking looks to match its rich tone are sure to love the 214ce DLX Special Edition. This versatile Grand Auditorium boasts back and sides of layered Indian rosewood with a hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst paired with a solid torrefied spruce top in a rich black finish, combining for a clear, versatile voice with room-filling projection and a balanced profile across the register. Our special roasting recipe for the top adds a dash of warmth and played-in character that you'd expect from an older guitar, while C-Class bracing inside dials up strong projection and balanced response for strumming, fingerstyle, and everything in between. This Deluxe model is capped with upgraded appointments like a full-body gloss finish, satin black tuners, a black pickguard, and crisp white trim—including a three-ring rosette, body binding, purfling, and heel cap—along with a comfortable slender satin-finish neck, ES2 electronics, and a Taylor Deluxe Hardshell Case.
