The Wylde Audio IronWorks Barbarian Electric Guitar in Black Burst features a set-neck construction with a mahogany body and an IronWorks metal top. The body has a flat top contour with white binding and satin chrome hardware. The bridge is a TonePros T3BP Tune-O-Matic with a T1ZS tailpiece. This is a right-handed instrument.

The neck is a 3-piece maple design with a Zakk “C” profile. The ebony fingerboard has a 14" (355 mm) radius, 22 X-jumbo frets, and pearloid rune inlays with dot side markers. Scale length is 24.625" (625.5 mm). Neck thickness measures 0.83" (21.08 mm) at the 1st fret and 0.96" (24.4 mm) at the 12th fret. The nut is Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq with a width of 1.693" (43 mm), and the truss rod is a 2-way adjustable rod with a 5/32" (4 mm) Allen nut. Tuners are Grover Rotomatic 18:1.

Electronics include an EMG 81 bridge pickup and an EMG 85 neck pickup with volume, volume, tone, and a 3-way switch. The battery compartment is located inside the control cavity.
