Are you looking to invest in a double french horn? Well look no further!!!! We carry the Yamaha YHR668DII Professional Double French Horn features a detachable bell, which is in a lacquered brass finish. 

Yamaha Professional Horns feature hand-lapped rotary valves and slides for an airtight, smooth action. Quick, responsive motion is provided by the articulated key levers. The hammered and annealed bell responds consistently in all ranges and the cyclical bore design produces consistent airflow throughout the horn. A well placed water key provides efficient water drainage. Yamaha Professional Horns are known for accurate intonation and comfortable yet quick response.

Designed with a Kruspe-style, which traditionally means this horn has a larger bell and bell throat. This larger bell throat is most of the reason for its broader, darker sound but its heavier weight and nickel-silver composition also adds to its darker sound, especially in softer passages. It is usually played on the knee, touching the body and that position dampens its resonance a bit.  

Yamaha horns are known for their state-of-the-art intonation and playability. Their tone is rich, warm and colorful. You will be surprised by how this horn can project in solos or blend with the section and is so full of life it can fill any concert hall. While the response is quick and easy, and offers excellent control even at pianissimo.

Yamaha YHR-668DII also features a lacquered body and bell; key of F/B ♭, “Kruspe” style, 0.472" bore size, large throat, and a new leadpipe and bell taper and a detachable bell.
