Return & Exchanges

Defective Products

Although Alto Music only sells the highest quality products, if you happen to receive a defective item we want to make sure the problem gets resolved quickly and fairly. If you have received a defective item, please contact our support team at (845) 692-6922 and we'll provide you a return authorization (RA) number. If we determine the product's defect is under warranty and within 30 days of purchase, we will pay the shipping costs within the U.S. to return the product to us and get a replacement out to you at no additional cost.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is what keeps us up at night. If you're not happy with your purchase for any reason, we are happy to assist you in returning the product for a refund, in-house credit or exchange within 30 days of the product arriving. If you elected for free shipping at checkout, our shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee or refuse refunds for any items not in their original condition.

How To Make A Return

After calling us and obtaining an RA number, please follow these steps to ensure your return is not rejected and adjustments are not made to your refund:

  • Original box should be double boxed to avoid any return shipping issues
  • RA number must be affixed to the OUTER box and legible
  • Item must be in its original condition and packaging
  • All literature (manuals, warranty cards, etc..) and accessories included must be returned in their original condition
  • Please do not write on the original box

Terms & Excluded Items

Due to health concerns and copyright laws, there are absolutely no refunds for the following items:

  • Software (if unsealed or registered)
  • Sheet Music
  • Books
  • DVDs
  • Videos
  • CDs
  • Harmonicas, Mouthpieces, Earbuds/Earphones/Headphones(if unsealed), or any item that may come in contact with the mouth, ears or nose.

New merchandise carries the original warranty issued by the manufacturer. Used merchandise carries a 30-day warranty through Alto Music, unless otherwise specified.

There are no warranties for the following items:

  • Strings
  • Drumheads
  • Drum Sticks
